On Monday, 16th June 2025, Mont Rose College was proud to welcome Dr. Saira Osama, a global leader in AI-driven healthcare innovation, for an inspiring guest lecture with our Health & Social Care students at Shakespeare House.
Dr. Osama, Founder of CerebroCure Technologies Private Ltd., is internationally recognised for her work in ethical AI and health innovation. Her accomplishments include serving as a Keynote Speaker at Stanford’s Women in Data Science (WiDS) and the UN’s leading AI platform, and winning the Most Impactful Initiative Award at Women in Tech APAC 2024 (Malaysia). She was also a finalist in the Women in Tech Global Awards 2024 (France).
Her “Using AI in Making Effective Healthcare / Clinical Diagnoses” session offered students a unique opportunity to explore how artificial intelligence transforms clinical decision-making, from early diagnosis to personalised treatment planning.
Throughout her talk, Dr. Osama highlighted the real-world impact of AI in healthcare and shared stories from her journey as a female leader in tech. She spoke about the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, building culturally informed AI models, and remaining ethically grounded as technology evolves.
The event was designed to connect theory with practice, showing students how innovation directly shapes the future of the healthcare sector. Dr. Osama’s engaging style, global insights, and encouragement sparked deep interest and thoughtful questions from the audience.
