Our business faculty brings decades of real industry experience into every classroom — from banking and international trade to digital marketing and management consultancy. At Mont Rose College, your lecturers are professionals who have done what they teach.
Desh began his career in banking — including a position in Jersey — with expertise in trade finance, foreign exchange, and financial management. He joined Mont Rose College in January 2014 and was appointed Programme Manager of the Business department in September 2016. He holds a Masters in Commerce, a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of Greenwich, and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. He has also completed the University of Cambridge's High Impact Leadership Programme.
Dr. Mehmood has been a distinguished member of the MRC academic team since 2021, bringing over 20 years of combined experience in lecturing, industry research, and management consultancy. He holds a PhD alongside an MBA, BSc, ABA, and PGCert. At MRC, he plays a pivotal role in lecturing, research mentorship, and developing the next generation of business professionals — with a particular focus on strategic management, entrepreneurship, and applied research methods.
All the subjects were clear and enjoyable, and the teachers were very supportive. When I finished the HND, I felt ready to start my own business — I was equipped with the knowledge and practical tips from my teachers to do so. I would recommend this college to anyone. I am very confident that all the teachers will support you in your domain.
Mont Rose College not only prepared me with academic knowledge, but also helped me develop my character and individuality. The practical learning and group work experience were among the best I had. I am so grateful to Mont Rose because they shaped me and made me prepared for the professional career ahead. I published my first book in 2025 and I am now a Reiki Master Practitioner.
I chose MRC because it felt very welcoming from the very beginning — my teachers were always approachable and motivating. This course developed my confidence, professional skills, and critical thinking, which helped prepare me for real-world challenges.
