Work experience in Hospitality Careers

As part of your college course, you will undertake at least one work experience placement. This will give you the opportunity to sample the industry and will enable you to decide which area would be best suited to your skillset. It’s also a good idea to try to find a work experience placement during college holiday periods. This demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment, and could even land you an offer of a permanent job once you’ve completed your studies at Mont Rose College.

Gaining work experience while you are still studying is especially important if you want to find an opening for supervisory or management-level jobs, as places on graduate training schemes are hotly contested.
