Over 200 students graduate from Mont Rose College at their summer graduation ceremony

Summer Graduation Ceremony | Mont Rose College

Mont Rose College celebrated the achievement of its students that completed their studies during the pandemic in a graduation ceremony on 17th June 2022. Similar to their spring ceremony, the event was held at the City Gates Conference Centre in Ilford. It was specially organised for those who completed their studies during the height of Covid-19 restrictions.

Its aim was once again to ensure that all students who accomplished their goals and gained their qualification during the pandemic were acknowledged.

The ceremony highlighted Mont Rose’s distinctiveness and their students’ dedication to succeed.

Over 100 Mont Rose College alumni strode across the stage in front of their family friends, and MRC family!

There were around 300 guests on the day. This included friends and family of graduates, MRC management, administrative and teaching staff and 3 special guests! Mr Trevor Gabriele attended as a representative of Mont Rose’s partnering university, Buckinghamshire New University. Deputy Lord Lieutenant Lady Sidra Naeem and Leader of Redbridge Council, Councillor Mr Jas Athwal also attended the ceremony.

Mont Rose is proud to cultivate an environment of hard work. 10 students volunteered their time and efforts in ensuring the event ran as smoothly as possible.

Awards were handed to a pair of students in each discipline for excellent academic performance. A member of the academic team in Mont Rose’s 4 subject areas was also recognised.

A most attractive food board set up was arranged by Graze N Platters and a delicious lunch followed suit catered by Pride of Asia.

All attendees were (and still are) invited to share the pictures and social media posts using hashtags #MRCGRAD22, #FRESHOUTOFMRC and #MontGrad22.

Mont Rose alumni and the event organiser Ms Umber Mokal said at the event that the college is “extremely proud to have taken the time to present and celebrate its alumni in this way”.

The exertion of Mont Rose’s academic and administrative team once again played a part in the event’s huge success.

The ceremony saw Mont Rose illustrate their inclusive and high-skill alumni on a day where worthy candidates make the transition from student to professional.
